Digital Pirate Database

An ongoing project to develop a comprehensive database of pirate attacks in the Atlantic, from 1660-1760, based on extensive research into contemporary newspaper reports and archival sources.

The Roberts Gang Visualisation

Currently under construction, this visualisation project provides striking insights into the internal dynamics and composition of one of the most infamous pirate gangs of the 1720s.

Smiths Island Archeology Project

An ongoing archeological dig at Smiths Island, Bermuda. I have served as both a participant in excavations and artifact analysis and as a research assistant focusing on creating usable databases and digital visualisations.

Virtual Bermudian History

As a research assistant, I have worked on both the Virtual St. George's VR reconstruction project and on an ongoing digital mapping project utilising historical maps, archival sources and ARC Geographic Information Systems Software.

Digital Literacy Navigator Program

A volunteer public outreach program by Literacy Volunteers of Rochester aimed at providing free digital literacy help and instruction.

Lewis Henry Morgan at 200

Lewis Henry Morgan at 200 is a critical appreciation of Morgan's various legacies. It is a collaboration among community partners that features public talks and film screenings as well as exhibits and a digital humanities project.
