The Digital Pirate Database

The Digital Pirate Database is an ongoing ditigal research project to collect and visualise hundreds of contemporary reports of pirate activities throughout the Atlantic world in the late-seventeenth and early-eighteenth centuries. While currently under construction, a proof of concept visualisation of the career of Bartholomew Roberts is available.
